Elma Boutique Boston is founded by three friends in our 40s who were simply tired of standing in front of full closets and saying to each other that they had nothing to wear. We didn’t want to dress like teenagers anymore, but at the same time, we didn’t want to give up the way to feel attractive and even a little bit sexy.

Instead, we were facing the reality of having wardrobes full of random pieces that did not really go well together. Nice pieces, just not the right pieces.So, we decided to find better pieces for ourselves.

We traveled, searched for the right brands and materials, learned more about the pieces, and eventually even managed to create a small collection for ourselves. Simple, tasteful pieces that would even work well in everyday life. The entire process gave us lots of fun and satisfaction. We loved it.

Our friends started asking us where we got our clothes, and they said we looked great. Where can they get some like that?

Then we knew that this was the way to go. From a small boutique, we started designing our first collections ourselves in local and foreign sewing rooms. Two of our founders come from Polish families, and we can definitely say that our European roots play an important role in the quality and detail we put into our clothing. With family in Poland helping us behind the scenes with the technical and operational aspects, we can now give our full attention to the creative and the customers in the United States.

Today, Elma Boutique is the link between Boston and Europe. Blending American lifestyle with European craftsmanship to create timeless pieces designed to last.
